Exploding Kittens Good Vs Evil Unboxing
/Exploding Kittens, with the release of the Netflix animated series, released Exploding Kittens Good Vs Evil. This is another standalone expansion to the game.
The set contains the following:
4 Exploding Kittens
6 Defuse Cards
3 Armageddon Cards
1 God Cat Card
1 Devil Cat Card
2 Attack (2x) cards
2 Targeted Attack (2x) Cards
4 Favor Cards
2 Raising Heck Cards
3 Reveal the Future (3x) Cards
5 Nope Cards
4 sets of 4 Face Cards
1 Set of Feral Cat (4) Cards
1 Good Vs Evil Playmat
The differences in this set are with the Raising Heck cards, the Armageddon cards, the God Cat and the Devil Cat.
The Armageddon card can only be played when both the devil cat and the god cat are on the playmat that comes with the game. This card allows the player to take the Devil Cat and the God Cat from the playmat. It can be noped.
The player that takes these two cards shuffles them each and looks at what they are and places one of them in front of themselves and one in front of another player. The other player must then decide if they want the card you gave them or the card in front of the player who played the armageddon card.
The player with the God Cat card gets to keep it. The player with the Devil Cat card immediately explodes and needs to play a defuse.
The God Cat card can be played as any card in the deck except for a nope card. That includes a defuse. The back of this card is different from other cards in the game, so it can be hard to hold onto if someone asks for a favor or uses a face card combination to take it from you.
Once played, the card goes back to the mat allowing for the next Armageddon card to be played.
The Raising Heck Card works similar from a draw from the bottom, just more powerful. The player will draw from the bottom and can choose to keep the card, or place it at the top of the draw pile and end their turn without needing to draw again.
This expansion is pretty fun, but I do enjoy other versions of the game more than this. It essentially plays like a game of Russian roulette with extra steps as the game ALREADY played like that with the base game itself and Exploding Kittens.
