Pathfinder Battles Legendary Adventures Miniatures

New miniatures are on the way for Pathfinder. In the set Pathfinder Battles: Legendary Adventures you can expect to get miniatures in a collection of 44 figures. This set is supposed to give players more classic monsters and heroes to choose from when running their game.

As usual these boxes will come in a standard booster box which contains 4 miniatures. 1 huge miniature and 3 medium or small figures.

Getting this set in a brick contains 8 boxes leading to 32 miniatures with 8 of them being huge characters.

They also come in cases containing 4 bricks. This ends up being 32 huge characters and 96 medium to small sized miniatures. Now that’s a lot of miniatures.

The standard box pre-order right now is sitting at $15.99. So what do some of the miniatures look like in this set? Let’s take a look and some notable models from the set that Wizkids have previewed.

Above we have a character model for a dwarf (left) and a gnome (right). According to Wizkids:

“when we were gearing up for the launch of Pathfinder Second Edition, we asked iconic Pathfinder artist Wayne Reynolds to produce some concept art of what the various ancestries of the game would look like if designed from the ground up. This resulted in some slight changes in proportions among halflings and dwarves, for example, that we wanted to make sure were reflected in the earliest set released after Second Edition’s launch.”

So that means that the these miniatures might be slightly different in appearance to the existing gnomes and dwarves that we have. That being said the gnomes and dwarves look spectacular in this set. There is so much detail in the armor of the dwarf specifically that I am glad it’s coming pre-painted.

Here we can see two of the huge miniatures on the left we have the ashen man. This miniature is really cool and I wonder what the texture of the ash features will actually look like with it in hand. Perhaps a translucent plastic, or something completely different. On the right we have a female cloud giant. The detailing on the hair and the robes are really well done.

The set is scheduled to be released around September 30th 2019 so now is the perfect time to pre-order some new miniatures.

A preview pack was released earlier this month that is currently retailing at $26.99 at the time of writing this article. It contains goblins orcs and haflings as well as an armored elf soldier. you can pick up a set for yourself here:
