Netflix Witcher Series Drops Images

Earlier this week Netflix dropped some images of the Witcher series. As we are getting closer to the release date for the series on Netflix’s streaming platform slated for late 2019. The images released are pretty fantastic and might put to bed the initial costume test for Henry Cavill who is set to play Geralt of Rivia.

We get the a look at the logo that will be used for the series that appears to be a bird, a star and a wolf symbolizing three of the main characters. Geralt of Rivia, Ciri, and Yennefer.

Upon initial inspection, the armor and costume design in the show look much better then what was seen in some leaked images over the past couple months. The poster appears to be of Geralt looking over a sea of some sort. He only has one sword in this shot. If you have read the books this will be no surprise to you. You can see another image of what Henry Cavill looks like in costume off his Instagram post below!

A few other images were posted as well by Neflix, you can take a look at them here. These are images of Yennefer and Ciri. Yennefer appears to be looking out around the same sea as Geralt. Ciri appears to be walking through a forest.

The images are making me feel much better about the quality of the series that is on it’s way. Hopefully this show will get the Stranger Things treatment and be a high quality show that they can back long enough to get through the entire series of the Witcher.
