Dungeons and Dragons Dark Alliance Trailer

At the 2019 Game Awards, we were treated to a trailer for the new Dungeons & Dragons Dark Alliance game. Set to launch in the fall of 2020 for PC and consoles, the game will be a hack and slash adventure. It will also be set to feature many iconic monsters and legendary characters.

Wizards of the Coast states that the game will feature Drizzt Do’Urden that some well versed Dungeons and Dragons fans will know comes from the Legends of Drizzt series written by R.A Salvatore.

The game will also feature local co-op and third person hack and slashing gameplay. Designed to give players the feel of combat in the game dungeons and dragons after rolling for initiative.

Personally this trailer was rather silly and didn’t show very much of what I would be hoping for in a game. There was very little alpha gameplay with the rest being a cinematic to some metal music in the background. Though the trailer did capture what this gameplay will be attempting to feel like, it just didn’t do much for me aside from let me know there is another D&D game coming soon.

In fact this made me want to look more into the Baldur’s Gate 3, which is still on the way but due out before this game is released at the time of writing this article.

So if you are looking for some more dungeons & Dragons in your life, you will not need to wait very long.
