HeroScape Set to Make a Triumphant Return

HeroScape Age of Annihilation Master Set Announced

HeroScape was the game that got me into the board gaming hobby many years ago. After the rights were handed over to Wizards of the Coast, the game began to experience pricing pains and eventually was cancelled. This although sad, was not very surprising as the cost to produce all the pieces for the game were becoming pretty prohibitive.

But here we are in 2022 with the announcement of the games return with a brand new master set. Avalon Hill revealed Heroscape: Age of Annihilation at Gen Con in 2022. This return of HeroScape will be hitting shelves as a master set. A Master set is the term used with HeroScape meaning it’s everything you need to get started playing. From Dice, cards, miniatures, other game pieces, and of course it’s signature terrain.

Craig Van Ness (The original creator of HeroScape) along with several known community members are hard at work with the game. So we all can rest assured that the game is in good hands here in 2022.
